The Police on Thursday arrested an outlawed CPI-Maoist courier during a vehicle check near Kothapally Cross Road near Venkatapuram mandal headquarters and seized revolutionary literature from him.
Mulugu: The Police on Thursday arrested an outlawed CPI-Maoist courier during a vehicle check near Kothapally Cross Road near Venkatapuram mandal headquarters and seized revolutionary literature from him.
The courier has been identified as 42-year-old Dara Saraiah alias Sekhar of Munipally village under Hasanparthy Mandal in Warangal Urban district.
Saraiah has been working with the banned outfit for some time, the police said.
It's learnt that Saraiah and his nephew Bura Ranjith alias Raju have been working as couriers with the Maoists. The police on Wednesday seized detonators and other devices used in the explosions.
