Day 51: RTC staff resent govt apathy
The RTC employees here on Sunday staged a demonstration near Prof Jayashankar’s statue, on the 51st day of the strike, near the local government hospital. They raised slogans.
Patancheru: The RTC employees here on Sunday staged a demonstration near Prof Jayashankar's statue, on the 51st day of the strike, near the local government hospital. They raised slogans.
Addressing the employees, RTC JAC leader Ramesh said the State government should take back the staff on duty as they "were prepared to join unconditionally." He garlanded the statue.
The JAC leaders flayed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who alleged injustice during the rule of Samaikya Andhra leaders was himself doing so to Telangana and cheating people.
Those present during the demonstration were JAC leaders K Ambadas, D J Rao, D V Subba Rao, Ramesh, Sunita, Nirmala, Padmavati, Tulasi, Rajkumar, Shankar, Ashok, supervisors' association leaders and RTC garage staff.
