The development of villages is going on a planned manner under the Palle Pragati scheme, said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao speaking in the assembly.

The government enhanced the number to Panchayats to 12,751 for the better development of villages. Graveyard to every village is also being constructed under the scheme, said the chief minister. Standing committees were also set up for the people's involvement in the administration. Officials and public representatives who are negligent in their duties will be awarded punishment, said KCR.
Explaining about Haritha Haram, the chief minister said that the government's aim is to develop villages with greenery. Around 23 crore saplings will be planted between 2020-21, he said.
To monitor Palle Pragati, the government has appointed senior officials and committees with 45 IPS, IAS, IFS officers.
