Karimnagar: Recognising the efforts put by some of the loyal leaders and those, who are with the party right from the beginning, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is giving major share to them by allotting suitable nominated posts to them, said BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar.
He was the chief guest at the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected body of the Gopalraopet Agriculture Market Committee in Karimnagar on Monday.
Gantla Venkat Reddy was appointed as the chairman and Thadikonda Rajaiah as vice-chairman of Gopalraopet Agriculture Market Committee. Speaking on the occasion, the BC Welfare Minister said the TRS is the only one such party that was owned by many poor and middle-class people and will remain in the hearts of them forever.
This was proved once again with the results of Huzurnagar by-elections where the ruling TRS had won with bumper majority.
In the past, farmers after sowing seeds in their fields used to look at the sky pleading the rain god to shower. But the CM, who understood their problems, taken up Kaleshwaram project and completed it within a record time of three years.
Now the farmers are able to produce three crops in a year because of the efforts put by the CM, he stated.
The Minister said that by supplying 24-hour power to the farming sector along with providing minimum support price of Rs 1,835 unlike in any other State, KCR is striving hard for the wellbeing of farming sector present in the State.
Every grain that is produced by the farmers will be purchased. It is the responsibility of the farmers along with the officials to keep a check on food grains that were brought from other States to sell here in Telangana, he urged.
The Minister ordered the officials to take up purchasing of food grains as a challenge along with providing all the required facilities in the purchasing centres.
