A girl burgled her own house to help her boyfriend in buying a car. Though the incident occurred a few months ago, it came to light with the arrest of the lovers.
Getting into details, the girl, who is pursuing M Pharm in Suryapet allegedly stole 20 tolas of gold from her house to buy a car for the boyfriend Karri Satish, a resident of Yanam. The girl gave the gold to Satish who sold it and bought a car for himself. The duo met on photo-sharing site Instagram and fell in love.
The police investigated the case based on the complaint lodged by the girl's grandfather on April 19 who suspected his tenant's hand in the burglary.
However, the police grew suspicious after checking the girl's call data, which revealed many calls to her boyfriend on the day of the burglary.
