Godavari @ 50 feet in Bhadrachalam
Due to heavy rains in Telangana and nearby states, the water level of Godavari river has been rising here at Bhadrachalam and on Sunday evening it touched 50 feet which is said to be for the first time in the season.

The officers sounded the second warning level on the Saturday afternoon.
The District Collector alerted officials. Collector Saini also ordered officials not to leave their place of work. He is also monitoring the mandal level officers every one hour.
He has also set up a control room arranged at Sub-Collector office at Bhadrachalam for monitoring operations. He informed that two big boats are also arranged at the river Godavari in the temple town.
He said, the water level would rise and will reach the third warning level of 53 feet on Monday morning.
