Gold worth Rs 35 lakh seized from Dubai passenger at Hyderabad airport

Around 826.68 grams of gold worth Rs 35 lakh has been seized by the customs officials from two passengers arrived from Dubai at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
Customs commissioner Siva Krishna said that the two passengers were caught while moving suspiciously and found the gold with them when checked. The official said that the gold was concealed in the form of small rods. " The worth of the gold is estimated to be of Rs 35 lakh," he said.
The passengers were taken into custody and are being questioned.
