Congress lawmakers say that the quality of the paper used for the speech of the Governor shows the scant respect being given to it

Hyderabad: Congress Legislature Party on Friday has said that the speech of Governor to the joint session of the Assembly and Council has no sanctity as it was nowhere near to the facts.

Addressing the media, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, along with MLAs Jagga Reddy, Sridhar Babu, K Rajagopal Reddy, and MLC T Jeevan Reddy, said that the quality of the paper used for the speech of the Governor shows the scant respect being given to it.

Showing the papers in which the speech has been printed Vikramarka said that the quality of the paper shows the respect being given to the speech of the Governor by the government.

He said that the speech of Governor was nowhere near to the facts. He said that this indicated the budget to be presented by the government. He said that there was no mention of the promises being made to the people.

He alleged that the government has been using Rythu Bandhu sparingly for its electoral purposes. He said that this should have been taken to the notice of United Nations Organisation which praised the scheme.

He said that though Rs 50,000 cores have been spent, the Mission Bhagiratha failed to provide water to the households. He said that they would guide the Governor if she wants to see the implementation of the scheme.

At a separate media conference MLA Rajagopal Reddy said that the government has turned the farmers into beggars. Minister KT Rama Rao has colluded with private hospitals and weakened the government hospitals.

He said that the police have been acting on the complaints being made by the leaders who come to stations with TRS Khanduvas. He said that he was ready to lead the fight against the Chief Minister.
