Gutha Sukender Reddy, chairman of Telangana State Legislative Council lashed out at the union government for not respecting the laws passed by the parliament.

Reddy objected the remarks passed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union minister for state home affairs Kishan Reddy against the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. The BJP has supported the act when it is passed by the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha during UPA regime.

The Prime Minister said that the bill was passed in a midnight drama while Kishan Reddy said the delimitation of assembly constituencies will be confined to Jammu and Kashmir.

He asked the centre to take up the delimitation of constituencies also in Telangana as said in the AP Reorganisation act.

Later, Gutha Sukendar Reddy lauded the Pattana Pragati Programme launched by the TRS government to develop greenery and sanitation in the towns. He also asked the opposition to cooperate with the officials and make the programme, a grand success.
