In a shocking incident, a head constable shot himself with SI revolver here on Wednesday around 8 am at Nizamabad. The reason for his extreme step is yet to be known.
Prakash Reddy was dead on the spot with grievous head injuries. His body was shifted to Nizamabad government hospital for an autopsy. He has a son and a daughter. It is learned that Reddy will get retired in the next eight months.
CP Karthikeya rushed to the spot and inquired about the incident. An investigation is underway.
