Heat wave to continue till May 28 in Hyderabad

Heat wave conditions will prevail in the city till May 28, according to the Indian Meteorological Department. However, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds were also predicted at deserted areas due to an upper air cyclonic circulation lying over South interior Karnataka and the neighbouring areas.

The temperature is Telangana will increase by 1-3 degrees in the next four days, said IMD officials.

On Thursday, Adilabad in Telangana recorded the maximum temperature of 46 degrees followed by Nizamabad and Ramagundam at 45 degrees. Hyderabad too witnessed 42 degrees in the day while the temperature slipped to 28 degrees at night.

The IMD officials warn people not to expose directly to the sunlight.
