The Telangana State Council for Higher Education has announced the schedule for the conduct of CET exams from July 1 to July 17. TS Polycet, PG ECET will be held tomorrow. The court was hearing the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by NSUI state leader Venkat asking the court to postpone all the exams including CET and degree, pg and engineering exams in the view of rise in COVID-19 cases.

The court asked the government to maintain a clarity on the lockdown in Hyderabad. It questioned as to how the government is going to conduct the exams if the lockdown is announced.

Meanwhile, the government's counsel told the court that the confirmation on lockdown is based the cabinet meeting which is scheduled to be held a day or two. The counsel also said that a decision will be taken on the conduct of exams after discussing with the state chief secretary Somesh Kumar.
