Ameenpur: Ameenpur Municipal Chairman Tummala Panduranga Reddy on Thursday called for people's cooperation for taking up development works by the civic body, after going round several wards in a surprise inspection. Later addressing a gathering, Reddy directed the civic staff to remove stones and rubble lying in streets of the town and to demolish unauthorised constructions. He asked the Transco officials to replace the old streetlight poles.
The chairman warned of taking legal action against those seeking to stall development works. Among those present during inspection were Transco AE Sammayya, ward-II councilor Krishna, 15th ward councilor Chandrakala.
