Hyderabad: Corona scare drives RTC to opt for cleanliness steps
TSRTC authorities say that door handles, arm rest rods, bus floors etc were cleaned with alcohol-based liquid as a precautionary measure
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation authorities have taken steps like cleaning the contact points in buses, bus stations with alcohol-based liquid for safety of passengers in the wake of coronavirus scare.
The authorities said that door handles, arm rest rods, bus floors etc were cleaned with alcohol-based liquid as a precautionary measure. Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao had directed the Transport Minister P Ajay to instruct the officials for taking up cleanliness drive in stations and buses.
The RTC personnel were seen cleaning premises in MGBS station. The authorities have said that there was no need to panic as these were precautionary measures by them. The authorities put up stickers on the buses about dos and don'ts making the passengers aware about the precautionary measures like maintaining hygiene and using hand sensitisers etc.
