A majority of migrants from Bihar live in Borabanda of Hyderabad
A majority of migrants from Bihar live in Borabanda of Hyderabad. Deputy Mayor and Corporator of Borabanda Baba Fasiuddin interacted with the migrants at early hours of Monday in the bus station at Borabanda and distributed necessary food and water bottles to the migrants.
The State government is helping migrants reach their places through special trains and a bus has taken 152 migrants from Borabanda to Secunderabad railway station.
So far, the requests from Bihar and Jharkhad migrants were higher in comparison with those of migrants from other states.
"Around 30% of migrants we have sent hail from Bihar and more number of migrants from that State are still waiting to be sent home. Requests are pouring in for these two States," Fasiuddin said.
