Meanwhile, nearly 15 of his PG batchmates in the Osmania hostel are worried as their classmate, who, they meet daily and also go for dining in the hostel mess are also tested for Covid-19 infection.
In case, the final year student is also found to be infected then his hostel and classmates would become primary contacts and they would be kept under home quarantine.
And if any of them have related symptoms they would have to undergo the sample test also.
Dr Naresh, final year PG student in Pulmonology department, who is a friend of the doctor whose sample test was done to check for virus infection said that they are now worried about final year exams slated from June 20.
He said that if they were put on home quarantine and daily health assessment and other formalities that are being done for all cases their exams would go for a toss.
