Hyderabad: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy supporters gift 4 Swachh trucks on his birthday

Hyderabad: Congress party workers from erstwhile Ranga Reddy district and Hyderabad city presented four Swachh Bharath trucks for cleaning school bathrooms, to mark birthday celebrations of former Chevalla MP, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy. They met him to greet and felicitate on his birthday at his residence at Banjara Hills on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishweshwar Reddy said, I am happy that my friends, well-wishers and party colleagues remembered me today and came to wish me from distant places. But what's heartening to me the most is that the party workers came forward and presented four Swachh Bharath trucks for cleaning school bathrooms, as a gift. These besides providing employment to some youth, keep the toilets of several schools in remote villages spick and span and that would encourage more children, especially girl students to go to schools and attend regularly without skipping classes. The villagers from Pedda Mangalaram village in Chevella constituency thanked him for provision of piped gas to their homes from the bio gas plant, and invited him for lunch.
