Hyderabad: Mayor Dr Bonthu Rammohan, along with Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, held a review meeting with Additional and Zonal Commissioners and HODs and instructed them to be alert and keep vigilance on Coronavirus.

The Mayor asked the officials to ensure all the sanitation workers wear radium jackets, gloves and masks while in field and make sanitary supervisors, field assistants responsible for this.

Biometric attendance will be taken between 5 am and 6 am for sanitation workers. The garbage should be lifted immediately, since the public starts coming out on roads from 7 am onwards.

Engineers and assistant engineers drafted for supervising lifting of garbage should be given orientation on job work. Hand sanitisers should be made available at the biometric machines. The biometric system is developed such a way that those who do not attend duty continuously for 30 days will be removed from duty automatically. Similarly, action would be taken against regular employees who do not attend to duty for continues 30 days.
