Hyderabad: Telangana's Amgoth Tukaram, who scaled Mountain Everest recently, called on TRS Working President KTR in the city. KTR warmly received Tukaram and congratulated him for successfully scaling the Everest.

In a brief interaction with the young mountaineer, KTR enquired about the challenges he faced while scaling the summit. KTR appreciated Tukaram for his achievement and stated that the Government of Telangana would extend help to the young mountaineer wherever he required assistance.

Tukaram has successfully climbed Mt Everest (8,848 meters), on May 22 this year. He became the 'South India's Youngest Mountaineer to Summit Mt Everest from South Col route.' Earlier, Tukaram entered the Limca book of records by scaling Mt Kilimanjaro in 2018. He was interested in climbing mountains since he was 17 years old. With the help of a few Telangana officials, he succeeded in scaling the Everest.
