Hyderabad: Telangana mountaineer Amgoth Tukaram came back home to a hero's welcome on Sunday. Family members, friends and admirers received the 21-year-old mountaineer at Rajiv Gandhi Airport, Shamshabad.

He successfully scaled 6,962-meter high Mt.Aconcagua (in South America) a few days ago. "It was a moment of pride for me to unfurl the national flag and also sing our national anthem on Mt. Aconcagua on January 26," said Tukaram reminiscing his momentous achievement.

He thanked everyone particularly the Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami for his blessings and support which strengthened him spiritually and made him to achieve the big feat

Dr Venu Madhav, Associate NCC Officer (ANO), NCC Cadets, Daivagna Sharma, numerologist, D Nanu Naik, Circle Inspector, Malakpet police station were also present.
