Hyderabad: Thanks to corona, the system of film shooting in the state is likely to undergo drastic changes. Henceforth, there will be no activity like make-up at the place of shooting. As per the new guidelines, announced by the government, external locations will have to be avoided.

Auditions for aspiring actors and actresses will have to be held via video conferencing. Use of private vehicles only for transportation, make-up at the residences of artistes, etc, were among the guidelines issued by the government for resumption of film and TV shootings.

Chief secretary Somesh Kumar has issued the Standard Operational Procedure (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure the strict implementation of safety measures at the shooting spots and also in post-production units to check the spread of deadly virus.

As per the new guidelines, most of the shooting should be in indoor sets. The government suggested the producers to avoid outdoor shooting to the maximum extent possible. No shootings should be held in containment zones.

All the artistes, the guidelines say, should get their makeup done at home and costumes should also be worn at home. All the crew and acting members were advised to travel in their own vehicles instead of choosing public transportation or group travel. It is mandatory to follow safety protocols at catering services, art departments , editing, dubbing , sound mixing, script sessions and production planning rooms, the guidelines add.
