Nampally: All the training camps for pilgrims that ought to be held in the month of March have been cancelled due to outbreak of Coronavirus. The same camps will be held in the month of April, informed TS Haj Committee.
The TS Haj Committee on Monday informed that the Central Haj Committee issued the schedule of selected Haj pilgrims for the year 2020. In a joint statement, the chairman of Telangana State Haj Committee Md Masihullah Khan and Executive Officer B Shafiullah said the journey of pilgrims would begin on July 9, while the return journey will take place from August 13 to September 3. The date for the payment of second installment by the selected pilgrims has been extended from March 15 to 31.
Requesting the selected pilgrims to pay their second installment amount i.e., Rs 1.2 lakh by March-end, Assistant Executive Officer Irfan Shareef advised them to make a habit of routine walking from now onwards so that it would help them perform the rites during the visit to Holy City of Makkah.
