The Hyderabad University has scrapped exams for final year degree and postgraduate students in the view of the lockdown.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad University has scrapped exams for final year degree and postgraduate students in the view of the lockdown. However, the varsity also provided an option to attend the exams if the students did not like the grades.
In an announcement, the Hyderabad Central University said that it would be difficult for the students from various states to attend the exams. Hence, it is decided to cancel the exams for the final year students and announce the degree and final students on June 16. If there are any objections, the students can attend the exams from July 4.
However, the exams for the first-year students will be held from August 3 and 11 and the classes for the next semester will be commenced from August 12, 2020.
The varsity also said that the entrance exams for getting admission into degree and PG courses will be conducted in August first week and the classes will be commenced from September 1, 2020.
