Hyderabad: The Congress has announced action plan against the negligence in completing the Irrigation projects of South Telangana and announced protest programmes to be held on June 2. PCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that hunger strikes would be held at the pending irrigation projects on June 2, on the occasion of Formation Day of Telangana.
He said that along with K Jana Reddy and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy would undertake hunger strike at SLBC. MLAs Bhatti Vikramarka, Podem Veeraiah and Seethakka would hold protest at Palair reservoir. Uttam said that former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy would take up protest at Laxmidevipalli reservoir, Nagam Janardhan Reddy at Yelluru Reservoir, Chinna Reddy at Karivena, Sampath Kumar at Nettempadu, and Vamsichand Reddy at Kalwakurthy. He said that the protests would be held from 10 am to 6 pm and they would also be held at pending projects on Godavari River.
