Intruder, who entered women's hostel at OU, held

A man, who entered the engineering college women's hostel at Osmania University has been arrested by the police.

He scaled up to a tree behind the hostel and sneaked into the building. A woman who was going to washroom spotted the man and locked herself inside it. He later threatened the woman at knife-point to come out of the washroom.

As the girl raised alarm, the security guard and other women rushed towards her following which the accused snatched the woman's phone and fled away.

When the police questioned the accused, he said that he entered the hostel to steal a mobile phone.
