Jagtial: Officials told to expedite development works
District Collector Dr A Sharath here on Monday ordered officials of various departments to speed up the various developmental works that are taken up under the Jagitial Municipal limits and complete them as early as possible.

The Collector held a meeting with the officials of various departments to discuss the ongoing developmental works in Jagitial district.
Sharath said that about 50 crore was sanctioned under TUFIDC for various developmental works in the Jagitial municipal limits. With the funds released, the developmental works such as the widening of roads, planting of electric poles, wiring, removing of tranformers and construction of drains are taken up in the municipal limits, he informed.
The Collector inquired the officials at what stage the works are and how many days will be required for completing it.
He ordered the officials to speed up the works and finish them in prescribed time limit.
District Joint Collector B Rajesham, Rural Development Officer Narendar, Executive Engineer of Roads and Buildings department Srinivas, Municipal Commissioner Lachhi Reddy and Superintendent of Electricity Engineer Venu Madhav were present on the occasion.
