Jai Ganesh Bhakthi Samithi members have elected their new president. Kranthi Valeshetty from Rama Chandrapuram has been elected as the new president. A Jain Kumar Chary, MV Gyanendra Prasad gave the appointment letter to Kranthi.

Speaking on the occasion, Kranthi said, "The main motto of the organization is to bring awareness among people avoiding Plaster of Paris Ganesh idols and use idols prepared by mud." He further added, "We will try to bring awareness in people to use mud idols by the time of Ganesh Chathurdi in 2019."
Jagadeesh Patel, Jangam Siddeswar, Varun, Dhandu Vikram Yadav, Purushottam and others participated in the programme.
