Deepak Mirani, a visually impaired student who had secured 10 GPA in the SSC examinations has been selected for the Merit Scholarship announced by Menda Foundation and South Indian Sindhi Federation.

Karimnagar: Deepak Mirani, a visually impaired student who had secured 10 GPA in the SSC examinations has been selected for the Merit Scholarship announced by Menda Foundation and South Indian Sindhi Federation. The foundation officials handed him over a cheque for Rs1,30,000 in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

The Menda Foundation and South Indian Sindhi Federation is rendering its services in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Karnataka, Kelara and Tamil Nadu and is selecting the unique students for merit scholarships.

This year, the members of Menda Foundation and South Indian Sindhi Federation selected Lucky Deepak Mirani who is visually impaired but with constant efforts achieved 10 GPA grade in SSC exams that was announced for the academic year 2018-19 and emerged as a role model for many aspiring students.

He pursued his education in Paramita High School along with other normal children but secured 10 GPA in the SSC exam.

The Menda Foundation and South Indian Sindhi Federation are going to felicitate Lucky Deepak Minari at Hubli in Karnataka besides giving him the title of 'Rising Star of South India' in the month of November.

Apart from that, Deepak Minari was invited to Mount Abu of Rajasthan to give an exclusive studio interview at Ishwariaya Vishwa Vidhyalaya.
