Chigurumamidi: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is incapable of solving land issues of farmers, alleged Communist Party of India (CPI)district convenor Takkallapally Srinivas Rao.CPI leaders staged a dharna in front of the Tahsildar office of Chigurumamidi mandal on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, T Srinivas Rao said the farmers across the State are facing lot of problems due to several irregularities that took place during the land regulation process.

Many farmers were tired of visiting revenue offices with complaints like Sada Bainama lands, improper implementation of RoR's and not getting of Rythu Bandhu scheme as pattadar passbooks were not issued to them.

"Many officials in the revenue department were caught by ACB for taking bribe from innocent farmers. With this, one can imagine how much corruption is prevailing in the revenue department across the State. Can't KCR see this?" he questioned.

There is no leader of the ruling TRS or officials in villages or in mandals to listen to the problems of the innocent farmers. Due to lack of sufficient staff, many land-related cases were in kept in pending, he alleged.

Demanding that the government must solve various land-related issues and to appoint Tahsildars and staff in revenue department, CPI will stage a dharna in front of the collectorate on July 22, T Srinivas Rao informed.

CPI leaders A Swamy, G Lakshmi, K Srujan Kumar, N Laxma Reddy, A Rajaiah, B Patel, A Chinna Swamy, G Sampath, D Venkanna, P Yellaiah, Md Usman Pasha, Malla Reddy,

Chada Sridhar Reddy, T Satyanarayana, G Raji Reddy, T Ravinder, Sammaiah, Chandraiah, Rama Swamy and Manda Yellaiah were present along with others.
