KCR only CM striving for uplift of poor
Former Minister and local MLA Harish Rao said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in a never before manner, had been providing independent double bedroom houses to the poor. “I am very happy as a people’s representative for providing houses to the poor”, he said.

Harish inaugurated the double bedroom houses at Velkatur village of Siddpet urban mandal on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said this was the sincerity on the part of government towards the poor. "In the regime of Congress, the meagre amount of Rs 70, 000 were not enough to build a house.
But this government is providing houses with a budget of Rs 5 lakh," he said. Rao warned that the legal action would be initiated if these houses are sale or buy. He told the beneficiaries to maintain cleanliness and plant saplings in front of every house so that the colonies turn model for others. He said houses for the remaining 16 beneficiaries would be handed over within a week.
