Devarakonda (Nalgonda): Congress senior leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy urged people to support Congress in the upcoming ZPTC and MPTC elections to teach a befitting lesson to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who has been ruling the State according to his whims and fancies.

On Wednesday, Komatireddy participated in a nomination rally of party ZPTC, MPTC candidates in Devarakonda. Speaking on the occasion, he assured to extend his cooperation for the development of Devarakonda constituency after becoming the MP from Bhongir.

Stating that posts hold no importance to him, he said he has been rendering valuable services to the society as a responsible leader for the last 20 years. He promised to play his role for the completion of pending irrigation projects in Devarakonda division. He urged the people to back Congress party which realised the dream of separate Telangana. Zilla Parishad chairman Nenavath Balu Naik, in his speech, stated that the time has come to show the unity of Congress party by sweeping all ZPTC and MPTC seats in Devarakonda Assembly constituency.

Party MPTC, ZPTC candidates N Kishan Naik, G Sirisha, Rukma Reddy, party local leaders and workers participated in the rally.
