Hyderabad: TRS Working President K T Rama Rao on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that the BJP leader had talked of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' but betrayed Telangana.KTR was addressing the party cadre at Secunderabad parliamentary constituency meeting on Wednesday.

KTR said, "TRS leaders have been requesting the Centre to confer national project status to Kaleshwaram and sanction a special grant for it. But the Centre never responded to the demands. We have asked 100 acres of defence land to construct two flyovers in Secunderabad. In exchange, we offered 500 acres in Shameerpet. Padma Rao (former Minister) and I made multiple requests which went unanswered. The leaders at the Centre never gave permissions," said Rao.

KTR recalled that PM Modi promised to create 10 crore jobs in five years and added that nothing was delivered. PM Modi promised to bring back black money and that too never happened, he added.KTR mentioned that Telangana BJP chief K Lakshman challenged TRS before every election, but people of Telangana gave a mandate to TRS. Laxman could not match even the victory margin of M Gopal and finished third, he said.

He expressed confidence that the TRS would win the Secunderabad Lok Sabha. The BJP faced embarrassment in GHMC and Assembly elections and they would again face the same in Lok Sabha, he said. KTR said that BJP always insulted Telangana leaders. "Not even a single leader from Telangana was taken into the Cabinet.

Bandaru Dattatraya was inducted into the Cabinet but was removed shortly and no one knows why he was removed," he said. Modi has no moral right to seek votes from Telangana, he said.

Winning 16 parliamentary seats will make Telangana a decision-making force at the Center, he said and asked the cadre to strongly campaign for TRS in the upcoming elections.
