Instructional Media Centre (IMC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing second MANUU Knowledge Series Enrichment Lecture “India’s Film Heritage: Rich, Diverse, Endangered” on 21st March, 2019, 10:30 am at IMC Preview Theatre, MANUU Campus.

Hyderabad: Instructional Media Centre (IMC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organizing second MANUU Knowledge Series Enrichment Lecture "India's Film Heritage: Rich, Diverse, Endangered" on 21st March, 2019, 10:30 am at IMC Preview Theatre, MANUU Campus.

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, National award winning filmmaker, Film Archivist and the founder of Film Heritage Foundation will deliver the lecture. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor will preside over.

Dungarpur's award winning Film "Celluloid man" will also be screened after the lecture. This documentary pays tribute to India's legendary archivist P.K. Nair and his life.

According to Rizwan Ahmed, Director, IMC, the idea behind organizing the lecture is to create awareness and educate people about glorious past of Cinema and its history and different phases of cinema since its inception.
