Mahbubnagar: A youth has come forward to donate Rs 20,000 towards setting up of a digital classroom in the Khanapur government primary school of Jadcherla on Wednesday. According to sources, Bojja Mallesh, a youth working at a private organisation has come forward to donate a television set worth Rs 20,000 towards setting up of a digital classroom in the government primary school of Khanapur village.

Speaking on the occasion, Khanapur Sarpanch Aruna lauded Mallesh and urged more and more youth to extend their contribution towards the development of their village.

School headmaster Srinivasulu thanked Mallesh for contributing towards improving educational standards in the village. He said they would utilise the donated equipment for improving the knowledge of students.

"Digital classroom is really a welcome donation by the youth. The students and teachers thank for this kind of help to the school. We hope in the coming days, many more come up to improve quality of education and extend their support towards further improving the facilities in the school," said the headmaster.

Vice-Sarpanch Rangaiah, teachers Krishundu, Shiva, Brahmaiah and Pentaiah along with villagers and students participated in the programme.
