Mahbubnagar: With RTC buses coming on to the roads from all the nine depots of the erstwhile Mahbubnagar after 58 days of lockdown, the RTC authorities have created awareness to all conductors and drivers about the danger of highly contagious coronavirus.

The authorities have also decided to make sure that each and every bus driver and conductor will ensure that the passengers in the bus will maintain social distance and must wear masks.

The Depot Managers (DMs) of all nine bus depots in Wanaparthy, Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet and Gadwal districts conducted awareness programs to the RTC staff before letting the buses go out of the depots and advised them to make sure that they strictly follow the covid-19 controlling norms of social distancing and wearing of masks.

On the first day, the RTC allowed buses on busy routes only with occupancy rate of less than 50 per cent to avoid the chances of corona virus infection. A passenger said that its a good decision of the government to allow RTC buses thus providing transportation for the public.
