TRS working president KT Rama Rao asked the party leaders to take dummy EVMs to the people during campaign to make them aware of the party’s car symbol in wake of many identical symbols in the Huzurnagar byelections.
Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao asked the party leaders to take dummy EVMs to the people during campaign to make them aware of the party's car symbol in wake of many identical symbols in the Huzurnagar byelections.
The TRS working president had a video conference with the party leaders in Huzurnagar on Saturday. He said that the party had to suffer with the identical symbol like 'Truck' during the previous Assembly elections.
This time around there are many such identical symbols hence the party leaders should take dummy EVMs to the people and explain them the party symbol. The TRS leader called upon the party leaders to intensify the door-to-door campaign.
The party leaders said that the TRS was far ahead of other parties in the constituency and added that more than 50 per cent votes would be polled to the TRS candidates.
The TRS leader said that Congress had nothing to talk in the public meetings. People are accepting the TRS version that there will be development if TRS candidate wins, he added. KTR said that true strength of BJP would be known in this election. It will be great if the BJP saves its deposit.
Knowing that there is no support of the people, the BJP and Congress party leaders have colluded, alleged KTR.
