Man hacks disabled daughter to death at Nagarkurnool

A man hacked her disabled daughter to death at his home in Pedha Kothapalli village of Nagarkurnool district late on Sunday.

According to the police, the victim, Syamala had got married six years ago. Later, her husband left her after she became mentally ill. Since then she was residing at her parents' house.

On Sunday night, Syamala's father Eranna hacked her with a sickle. Locals who learned the incident alerted the police who took the accused into custody. Further details are awaited.
