Man held for harassing senior police official
The Cybercrime police of Central Crime Station (CCS) Hyderabad arrested one Kunapareddy Manmohan (28), a resident of Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh for his alleged involvement in harassment of Senior Police Officer.
Hyderabad: The Cybercrime police of Central Crime Station (CCS) Hyderabad arrested one Kunapareddy Manmohan (28), a resident of Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh for his alleged involvement in harassment of Senior Police Officer.
The accused by creating fake IDs in Facebook posted obscene and vulgar photos and the cell number of the officer on different social media platforms.
They seized a tab and a Wi-Fi router from his possession. According to officials, they received a complaint from senior Police Officer on October 3, in which she stated that, someone created multiple fake Facebook profiles by using her name and official pictures with obscene content and shared her official contact details with anonymous persons in objectionable manner.
Based on her complaint a special team was formed and after investigation, the accused was traced. The team arrested the said accused from his house. He was produced before the court for remand.
