Man kills wife over family dispute in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: A man had killed his wife in a fit of rage in Veerayapally village of Peddamandadi mandal in Wanaparthy district on Tuesday.

According to villagers, Narasimha, the husband of the victim, was angry over some family issue.

On Tuesday early morning, he came home fully drunk and took a huge log and hit his wife on the head killing her instantly.

The Peddamandadi police booked a case and arrested the man for murdering his wife.

"We have sent the body of the woman to the government hospital for post-mortem and took the culprit into our custody. We are questioning him and already booked a case against the man," said the police.
