Hyderabad: Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Thursday reviewed the proposal for a 120-foot road between Nagole junction and Indu Aranya (3.5 km long), which would not only ease traffic flow between the areas, but also for heavy-vehicles entering and exiting the city.

The Mayor, who was accompanied with Musi River Front Chairman and L B Nagar MLA, D Sudheer Reddy, Zonal Commissioner (L B Nagar) Upender Reddy and other officials, spoke to the management of a temple which is likely to be affected by the proposal. Both sides held elaborate discussions on finding out an acceptable solution so that works could be initiated.

He urged the temple management not to take up any developmental works of the structure. Ram Mohan, later, instructed the officials to speed up the land acquisition process, towards initiating the proposed project.

Earlier, the road widening works from ORR (under Pedda Amberpet Municipality) to Indu Aranya has been completed.

With the latest project, the officials hope that the problem of traffic congestion could be reduced further and would also act as alternative route for vehicles going from ORR to Warangal and Vijayawada Highway.
