Warangal: Satyavathi Rathod on her first visit to Medaram, the abode of Sammakka Saralamma deities, after becoming Women and Children Welfare Minister offered prayers to tribal Goddesses on Monday.

The tribal priests and locals gave traditional welcome to the minister and Mahabubabad MP Maloth Kavitha on the occasion.

The duo offered mokkulu to the tribal deities – Sammakka, Saralamm, Pagididda Raju and Govinda Raju. The minister offered Bathukamma sarees to deities.

District Collector C Narayana Reddy, Superintendent of Police Sangram Singh, former minister Azmeera Chandulal, former MP A Seetharam Naik and ZP chairman Kusuma Jagadish were among others present.
