The regional coordinator of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) of Nalgonda and Suryapet districts, M Sharanya Reddy, stated that teachers and helpers of Anganwadi centres will be suspended if they do not open the centres regularly.

Miryalaguda (Nalgonda): The regional coordinator of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) of Nalgonda and Suryapet districts, M Sharanya Reddy, stated that teachers and helpers of Anganwadi centres will be suspended if they do not open the centres regularly.

Addressing the media in Miryalaguda town on Wednesday, she said government has been spending crores of rupees to provide nutritious food to lactating mothers, pregnant women and children.

He warned the staff of all Anganwadi centres in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts to open the centres regularly lest face the suspension. "Vacant posts in all Anganwadi centres will be filled very soon," she informed.

She advised Child Development Project Officers (CDPO) and Supervisors to inspect any of the Anganwadi centres in their territorial for effective functioning of the centres.

"Midday meal with fine rice would be started at the earliest," she informed, adding that loans and tricycles would be provided to disabled in near future.

She instructed the teachers and helpers of Anganwadi centres to maintain dress code and maintain surroundings at the centres.

Meeting of CDPOs and Supervisors of Nalgonda and Suryapet districts would be held on June 21 at respective Collectorates and similarly, meeting of CDPOs and Supervisors of Miryalaguda division would be held at Miryalaguda RDO office on July 4 and 5.
