One lakh candidates to write POLYCET today
The State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET) has made all arrangements for the conduct of the TS Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) – 2019 for the candidates seeking admission in to all diploma courses in Engineering /Non EngineeringTechnology offered at polytechnics for the academic year 2019 - 20.
Warangal: The State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET) has made all arrangements for the conduct of the TS Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) – 2019 for the candidates seeking admission in to all diploma courses in Engineering /Non EngineeringTechnology offered at polytechnics for the academic year 2019 - 20.
The test will be conducted in 16 centres located in Warangal on Tuesday (April 16), the Government Polytechnic College principal and district coordinator Dr B Prabhakar said. The test will be held from 11 am to 1 pm.
He advised the aspirants to reach their respective examination centres by 10 am. Entry to the exam hall is barred post 11 am. The candidates must bring an HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, blue or black ink ballpoint pen. No electronic gadgets would be allowed inside the hall.
He said that pattern of test paper includes questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The police department, revenue, health and education departments are coordinating to successfully conduct the examination.
The SBTET has introduced 'SBTET exam centre locator', an android application to help students locate their test centres. In all, 1.10 lakh candidates are expected to attend the POLYCET-2019 in the State.
