Huzurabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajendar inaugurated the vehicle for providing Palliative Care services to old people, who are in their last stage, in Huzurabad of Karimnagar district on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Rajendar said Telangana is the only State in the country, which is providing such kind of medical services. The government will identify people suffering from deadly diseases like cancer and kidney related problems, confined to bed in their last stage, and not getting care from their family members, and provide Palliative care medical services, he informed.

Rajedar said 17 vehicles were introduced across the State till date. The medical staff will visit the houses of aged people and will render medical services at their houses through the vehicles, he added.

Later, the Minister inspected SRSP canal and appealed the people to look after the canals like that of temples without dumping any waste materials in the canals.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is striving hard for making farmer a king and as part of that, Kaleshwaram water is supplied to every acre of land. Since canals are lifeline to farmers which supply water to fields, he appealed that it is the responsibility of every person to keep the canals neat and clean without dumping waste and other trash into the canals.
