District Chief Justice and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chairperson Anupama Chakraborty suggested the para legal volunteers to work with service perspective.
Karimnagar: District Chief Justice and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chairperson Anupama Chakraborty suggested the para legal volunteers to work with service perspective. She launched the para legal volunteer training programme, organised by DLSA, here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice Anupama Chakraborty said the para legal volunteers should work hard to provide quick justice to the people and they should be the negotiators between the public and the law enforcement agency. There is a need to raise awareness of law and explain to the people that they have the legal consciousness. Free legal aid is being provided through the district legal service agency. Anumpama called for efforts to raise awareness on the issue.
DLSA secretary Sujay, attorneys Tumiki Pawan Kumar, Kukatla Komraiah, Rangaiah, District Child Welfare Committee Chairman Komraiah, Assistant Labour Commissioner Koteshwar and Psychologist Dr Krishna Kant explained various laws. The programme was attended by judges Shiva Jyothi, Madhavi Krishna, Satish Kumar, Sai Sudha, Raju, Pradeep Kumar and several para-legal volunteers.
