However, the tragic thing happened on Sunday when a TSRTC driver Srinivas Reddy from Khammam district who attempted suicide was succumbed from injuries and breathed his last.

Uproar on the incident has raised from all the sections of people and parties. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is the latest one to join the party in Critisising the government. He paid tributes to the deceased and requested the government to look the problem of the RTC employees in a sympathetic manner.

Pawan Kalyan tweeted, "It's painful to see the death of TRTC employee 'Srinivas reddy' by self- immolation. TS-Government should not have pushed employees to get into such extreme form of protest for their demands.I request Govt to put an end to this." The actor turned politician posted a letter on this issue.
