Protecting as vital as planting saplings

Jharasangam: ZP chairperson Manju Sri Reddy, Zaheerabad MLA Manik Rao, and MLC Fariduddin called upon everyone to strive for protecting the environment. They were taking part in Haritha Haram programme at Jharasangam ZP hq on Monday.

They said protecting saplings was as important as planting them. Saplings should be planted in every mandal, they added. TDC Chairman Umakanth Patil, state leaders Malkapuram Shivakumar, Temple Chairman Narasimha Goud, MPDO Sujatha, APO Raj Kumar, Village sarpanch Jagadish, BC Rajini Priya, Mallikarjun, Nageshwar and Shyamaiah also planted saplings on the occasion.
