Khammam: Bus services were hit in the wake of indefinite called by the TSRTC JAC on Saturday even as the RTC management was running bus services hiring temporary staff in erstwhile Khammam.
Bus services were being run amid tight police security at all bus stations and depots, where Section 144 was imposed. At many places the striking workers have staged protests and shouted slogans against the State government.
The police have taken several JAC leaders into custody. The strike was peaceful and no untoward incidents anywhere in the district. Telangana Jana Samithi has extended support to RTC JAC's strike and demanded the Chief Minister to hold talks with the leaders to end the strike.
