SCCL contract staff stage protest for salaries
Centre of Indian Trade Unions (Singareni) vice-president Y Krishnaiah demanded the Singareni Collieries Company Limited to immediately release the March month salaries of contract workers who were working in Kothagudem region’s exploration department.

The CITU leaders and contract workers staged a protest before the office of SCCL Assistant General Manager on Monday. During the time, Krishnaiah demanded the management to solve the issues of contract workers immediately besides giving them Coal Mines Provident Fund passbooks. He also appealed to the management to release the enhanced salaries of semi-skilled workers.
Contract staff A Ravi, Yadagiri, Srinu, Venkateswarlu, Jankiramulu, Hari Krishna, Ramesh, Mahesh, Tharak and others took part in the protest.
