SCCL targets 700 lakh tonnes production this fiscal
Company Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar holds a meeting with company officials.
Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar stated that the company has set the target of 700 lakh tonnes coal production the present financial year and every official and worker should work towards achieving the target. On Thursday, the Managing Director conducted a meeting with all area general managers and directors in his chamber at Hyderabad Singareni Bhavan.
Addressing the officials, he said the mines of old opencast and underground would be closed in some areas. So, the officers should make a plan to open new mines in the areas. He also discussed the coal production in April.
He also expressed about works in the nine block which were going on in Odisha State. The official informed that a separate committee was constituted to oversee the production works and makes reports regarding moth-wise coal production. He also discussed the works related to solar power plants in various areas of the company.
Company directors S Shanker, S Chandra Sekhar, B Bhasker Rao, N Balaram, Executive Director coal mine J Alwyn, Advisor of Mining DN Prasad, Marketing GM Antony Raja, General Manager (MP) Y Rajeswar Reddy, GM (MS) Rushendrudu, GM (Environment) YGK Murthy and all general managers attended the meeting.
